Jean Pierre SALLÉ - Self-taught

Inspired and admiring for a long time by the Impressionist period, dubious or perplexed by certain aspects of contemporary art, I took out pencils, brushes and knives to try to express a vision of my environment.
Warm colors, the work of the material with the knife, passionate exchanges with professors and colleagues of course as well as with artists bring me moments of serenity and pleasure.
Inspiration comes from the daily environment (city, Loire Valley), the marine atmosphere and the memories of numerous trips.
I look for the atmosphere and the impression more than the faithful representation, and recently a little more abstraction to make the colors and the matter sing.
