It's often called, by way of shorthand, the Nantes-Budapest! Neither a sailing race nor a mythical railroad line, it's just one of the many nicknames for EuroVélo 6, the EuroVélo Route des Fleuves which, from Saint-Nazaire on the Atlantic to Constanţa on the Black Sea, links Western and Eastern Europe over 5,000 km of cycling through 10 countries: France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania.
From May to October, Catherine, Olivier and their two young daughters crossed Europe, following the Loire, Rhine and Danube rivers, in the midst of extravagant nature and a rich history.
It's an adventure that many people can identify with, with its moments of happiness, but also its more difficult ones. The viewer soon becomes part of the troupe, pedaling along with them, following the ups and downs along the way, and learning a little about history, geography and nature.
A film that makes your legs tingle and makes you want to set off, but also to discover more, and to love our continent intensely!
