What is socio-aesthetics?

It's the practice of beauty care for people made vulnerable by life or illness. The aim is to create or recreate a social bond, regain body awareness, regain self-esteem and self-confidence, revive desire... through support, listening and appropriate advice.
As a beautician and care assistant, Cindy noticed the enthusiasm of nursing home residents for "wellness" moments. After a little research, she discovered a socio-aesthetics training course, which she is currently following. As part of her validation course, she presented her workshop at La Médiathèque.

What Cindy Roblin will be offering during this wellness moment:

- Make your own homemade products using natural ingredients (sugar, yoghurt, vegetable oils...)
- Learn the right gestures for a facial treatment
- Share a moment of cocooning in a small group
