Sailing with the Châtelaillon-Plage Sailing Club (Club Nautique)

Make the most of a seaside holiday by learning to sail a boat. Meet up at the sailing club, beside the Marina. 

Group lessons

› From the age of six, your child can learn to sail by taking a course lasting from three to five days.
› The club runs courses for beginners and improvers on a weekly basis.  

Boat hire and private lessons

Rendezvous at the Point Passion Plage every day. Lesson times naturally depend on the tides.
If you have dreamed of sailing the seven seas, take your first trip with an experienced sailor in a catamaran or sailing dinghy: every day; book in advance.
Session lasts 30 minutes

Hake Moana Chatel
Discover the canoe, a sport of rowing and slides within a dynamic team of metropolitan and Polynesian.
practice:
Initiation, discovery, entertainment on Wednesdays, Saturdays at 14h depending on the tides.

Pétanque at the Châtelaillon-Plage “boulodrome”

If you love playing “boules” (or “pétanque”), come and play on the pitches of our local “boulodrome”.
They are open Monday to Friday, 2 to 8.30pm., from 1 June to 30 September.
Every Friday at 3pm in summer, there are singles and doubles competitions in which you are welcome to compete.
The boulodrome is located in the Allée des Tennis.

Tennis with the Châtel Tennis Club

Make the most of your holiday at Châtelaillon-Plage by learning to play tennis or improving your skills.
The Châtel Tennis Club organises five-day tennis courses in the summer time, which run from Monday to Friday: one or one-and-a-half-hour lessons each day, in the morning, in July and August.
The club boasts one indoor and three outdoor courts, appropriately located in the Allée des Tennis.  

The tournaments of the month of July 

• From July 9 to 21, 2012: Seniors Ladies, Seniors and Seniors Men +
• July 23 to August 2, 2012: Youth Tournament

Bike rides with the Châtel Cycling Club

Every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday morning, from April to October, the Châtel Cycling Club organises two bike rides: one over 75 km, the other over 100 km. A cycle ride is a great way of discovering the area around Châtelaillon-Plage, including places which cannot be reached by other means of transport, along the coast and in areas of natural beauty.

Meet outside the Tourist Office for the start.
Starting spring and summer: Wednesday 8:30 ET Sunday 8:30
Starting autumn and winter: 9 am Wednesday and Sunday 9 AM
Departure all year: Thursday 14h 

Volleyball with the Châtelaillon-Plage Volleyball Club

Rendezvous on the beach opposite the “Bains des Fleurs” crêperie.
Here the coaches of the local volleyball club invite the whole family to discover the joys of beach volleyball. Lessons are given during the day on the three permanent courts, and tournaments are held throughout the summer. 

Monday to Friday, from 4 to 7pm. 

Lessons for all the family:
Fees:
1 beach volleyball lesson: €5 (€3 discounted rate)
Weekly season ticket: €20 (€18 discounted rate)  

Membership: 

This covers use of the equipment and mandatory insurance.
Tournaments every Sunday during the season. Registration from 3.30pm.
You can make use of the volleyball courts free of charge every day from 10am to 6pm. (excepts when tournaments are being held).
Mandatory insurance: €5 per person for the whole summer. 

Ball Trap Club

From 10 years discover a sport of skill and concentration par excellence. Discipline is to shoot clay plates with a sporting rifle, specially designed for skeet.
Accompanied by an instructor, you will discover shooting techniques, safety rules andpractice the sport on a service tray 25.

For the 2012 season, take advantage of the offer including the discovery of 25 targetsshot with proper ammunition, the location of the gun and equipment at 20 € instead of 23€
