Craft activities

During the holidays, Monday to Friday from 10am to 12 noon, Virginie is in residence at Beauséjour to welcome your children and teach them a variety of craft techniques: painting, collage, working with driftwood, macramé, flower arranging, patchwork, making scrapbooks. Each child goes home with his or her latest creation.

At Châtelaillon-Plage, there is no danger of your children getting bored. 

The “Mômes en Fête” kids’ festival

The summer event no child should miss is the Mômes en Fête Festival, which takes place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July, 2010.
For two days, Châtelaillon-Plage is a children’s paradise, with street entertainment, organised activities in the public gardens, a children’s book festival with illustrators on hand to sign their work, and plenty of other surprises. This festival is entirely free of charge and intended for the whole family.

Wednesday evening entertainment

Every Wednesday evening in summer the beachside gardens are the entertainment venue for both children and adults, starting at 6.30pm.  

Special children’s performances by music groups, mime artists and circus acts, and all free of charge.  

Beach-based activities

On the beach at Châtelaillon, the Club des Dauphins organises games and swimming lessons for your children.
In July and August, it is open every day except Sunday.  

› Senior club for 6-12 year olds: from 10am to 1pm. and 2 to 6.30pm. 

› Baby Club for 3-5 year olds: from 10am to 12 noon and 3 to 6pm.  

The club organises many activities during the holiday season: bathing in three freshwater pools, two of which are heated, competitive games with prizes for all, trampolines and zip line [C1] . The club is run by qualified personnel and swimming lessons take place in the freshwater pool. 

Beginners’ lessons for children aged four and over. Lessons for improvers and more advanced swimmers.
Every day, competitions with prizes for all.

Having fun exploring the natural world

Junior Safari

For children, we offer a fun-driven approach to the diversity of the area’s flora and fauna: the Junior Safari.
It covers seven topics: the wild rabbit, wading birds, small water creatures, flowers, tracking animals, fossil hunting, insects or the world on six legs.
A fun way of teaching children to respect and protect the natural world and their environment.
