Bookworms, during your stay you can borrow books or DVDs from the Châtelaillon-Plage Media Centre.
More than 15,000 documents, books and DVDs are available for a charge of €3/week 

Media Centre café

If you would like to read the latest edition of your favourite magazine in a convivial atmosphere, head for the Media Centre café.
We have 49 titles for you to read free.
You can also borrow them, except for the most recent issue. 

A digital reading room

The Media Centre also has a comfortable reading room, where you can familiarise yourself with the Apple I-Pad, or relax and catch up with the news on television, not disturbing anyone as you watch using the wireless headsets provided.  

Internet access

If you need to connect to the internet during your holiday at Châtelaillon-Plage, there are 9 computers available. You can also log in using your own laptop computer, as we have Wi-Fi facilities on our premises.  

The Châtelaillon-Plage Media Centre (Médiathèque) is open during the holidays:

Beachside pavilion

All summer long, the beachside pavilion will be the meeting place for all those who love to get lost in a good book on the beach. Located next to the lifeguard station, it offers you the chance to borrow books, comics and magazines free of charge. Free storytelling sessions are also organised. 

You can also rent deckchairs and beach cubicles.

Every day (except Tuesdays) from 11am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 7pm
